Most commonly, this conflict occurs when patients are receiving medication management through Metrocare or MHMR Centers, which are also considered community mental health agencies by the state.
While most of our sessions focus on skills training and developmental counseling and are scheduled in advance, our counselors are trained to provide support and recognize signs of crisis. They can help identify urgent resources and connect families to emergency or higher-level care when needed.
